That's right, it's that time again.

TIME FOR SOME STATE-OF-THE-ART VIDYA GAMES.

Mega Man 2 is a platform game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the second installment in the original Mega Man series. The game was released in Japan in 1988, and in North America and Europe the following years. Mega Man 2 continues the titular protagonist's battle against the evil Dr. Wily and his rogue robots. The game features graphical and gameplay changes from the first Mega Man game, many of which have remained throughout the series.

Although sales for Mega Man were unimpressive, Capcom allowed the Rockman team to create a sequel. They worked concurrently on other Capcom projects, using their free time to develop the game. Unused content from the previous title was integrated into Mega Man 2.

With more than 1.5 million copies sold, the game is the best-selling Mega Man title. Critics praised its audio, visuals and gameplay as an improvement over the first game. Many publications rank Mega Man 2 as the best title in the series, and as one of the greatest video games of all time. The game has been re-released on several consoles and mobile phones.

And that does it for the Robot Master stages. I recorded these last saturday and had to process them. I'll be doing the Wily stages tonight, most likely.

I also want to do a race with someone, sometime soon. I'm fine with a normal race, no restrictions. Hell, I'm willing to wager some in-game money on it.

Haha, nicely done. The biggest downfall of Mega Man 2 (I remember having this shit as a little bitty guy) is the cover... what the shit... It's some 30 year old man with a pistol.. get real.

Pretty sure that's Dr. Light hiding behind Crash Man. What a great hiding spot.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the European box art was even worse than North America's.

I've had the rest of the recordings done and ready to upload about a week ago. I just gave up on the second phase of Wily Machine. The bouncing orbs' collision detection is absolutely awful, and undoable, after 200+ takes of trying to do any sort of dodging.

So, that'll leave everything but Wily Machine: Phase 2 as perfect. /shrug

I'm also thinking about breaking my "No SNES before NES" rule.

I'm almost disappointed you fuckers haven't done shit with this. It isn't hard. Oh well. More for me to play.
